Grand Opening Day 2

Our 3-day grand opening at Nairobi Jiu Jitsu Academy was an incredible celebration and a truly special moment for our community. We were honored to bring together athletes from Kenya, Tanzania, and DRC, alongside families, supporters, media, and the wider martial art community.

We had the privilege of hosting two world-class MMA legends: Ricardo Testai of Kings MMA, and Renato Sobral, former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight World Champion and UFC title challenger.

Across the three days, we held MMA and BJJ seminars and a very special belt promotion ceremony. Having our guests lead workshops for both kids and adults made the experience very meaningful, bringing their world-class knowledge, friendship and inspiration directly to our mats.

This is more than just an opening — it is the beginning of something important for us; a statement of intent. A commitment to developing athletes, elevating performance, and building a world-class environment where talent can grow, compete, and thrive on an international stage.
